Brooklyn
One of my favorite things about living in Brooklyn is the amazing assortment of textures, typography and general signage that is everywhere.
Brooklynites have such a strong design sense that when you come across a hand painted sign, a graffitied directional or a collage, it’s usually something wonderful. It’s like the hand-painted signs you see in third world countries but made by people who make art for a living.
Brooklynites also know when to leave well enough along. The textures and colors just always knock me out.
