Porter Square Wine & Spirits
For seven years I ran a fine wine shop near Harvard Square. As a sommelier, I focused on smaller producers making wine responsibly. I rebranded the store, built the website (it’s since been redesigned), wrote the newsletter, shot all the photography, designed all the graphics, and ran a monthly wine club. As the wine and spirits buyer, I had a chance to travel all over the world with other professionals, some of the best trips of my life. Bartenders know how to party. Sommeliers know decadence and how to eat.

A trip to my favorite winery in Tuscany reveals a storied history in the mezzadria hills of Corzano e Paterno.
A week in Jeréz made me a sherry lover for life. Manzanilla, Fino, Oloroso, bring it on. These wines were made to be drunk any time of day and even make sardines taste better.
