Wine
I began working in the wine world in 2012. As a sommelier, I ran a fine wine shop for seven years. I wrote extensively about wine for the store and ran the PSWS Wine Club. My focus has always been smaller producers making wines that respect the land. I have run bar programs for restaurants and private clubs, conducted countless tastings and wine dinners, and traveled the world’s wine regions. I’ve helped friends open restaurants running the front of the house and working the line. In 2019, I partnered up to open an Italian restaurant with a scratch kitchen called Ravello on the outskirts of Boston. It’s still there, even if I’m not. I love restaurant work and I love kitchens. I pick up occasional bartending shifts on my travels just to stay sharp. I’ve been hired to design wine labels and wine maps and have a t-shirt company called Wine Bunnies selling wine-themed swag.
